Opera Teams Up with Decrypt to Boost Web3 Awareness
opera browser has joined forces with Decrypt, a leading crypto news site, to spread blockchain knowledge. This partnership will see decrypt’s articles featured on Opera’s platforms, including opera News, Opera mini, and Opera for Android.
Decrypt’s co-founder, Ilan Hazan, believes this collaboration will help make Web3 more accessible. “Our goal is to bring the next billion users to blockchain and crypto,” he said. Both companies are dedicated to educating people about blockchain technology.
Opera’s spokesperson noted that this partnership is not just a business move. It shows Opera’s strong commitment to Web3. Even though Opera is smaller than Chrome, Safari, or Edge, it still has millions of users, especially in emerging markets like Africa and Southeast Asia.
Opera has been active in the crypto space for years. In 2018, it launched its own crypto wallet. Later, it introduced MiniPay, a stablecoin-focused wallet on the Celo blockchain. Opera also offers various Web3 features, such as easy payments and NFT support.
This partnership aims to bring blockchain news to millions of new users as adoption grows. It’s another step in Opera’s journey to make Web3 more user-pleasant.
