Similar to Apple’s iMessage, World Chat uses chat bubbles to show verified and unverified identities. Verified users get blue chat bubbles with a unique World ID gem. Unverified users have gray bubbles.
World Chat also allows users to send and receive cryptocurrencies. developers can use the protocol’s software advancement kit to create proof-of-human applications.
world Network, formerly Worldcoin, launched in July 2023.It lets people verify their human identity using iris-scanning orbs. Despite challenges, the World App wallet has over 24 million users. More than 11 million unique humans are verified.
Over 486 million WLD tokens have been distributed across 160 countries. World Chat is the latest step in World Network’s mission to bring proof-of-personhood to the global community.
