Binance to delist ALPACA, PDA, VIB, and WING Tokens
Binance has announced the removal of spot trading pairs for ALPACA, PDA, VIB, and WING tokens, effective May 2, 2025. The decision comes after a thorough review of thes tokens.
The delisting will occur at 03:00 UTC on May 2. All open orders for these tokens will be canceled automatically. Binance advises users to cancel or update any active trading bots to prevent losses.
Support for these tokens across various Binance products will gradually end. This includes Margin, Futures, Loans, Simple Earn, Pay, Convert, and Dual Investment. Withdrawals will remain open until July 4. After that, leftover balances might potentially be converted to stablecoins starting July 5.
Binance conducts regular reviews to ensure listed assets meet its standards. Factors like project development, trading volume, community engagement, team commitment, and regulatory compliance were considered.
Following the proclamation, PDA, VIB, and WING tokens saw significant price drops. Though, ALPACA initially fell but then surged by 70%, possibly due to traders buying the dip or liquidity shifts.
This delisting comes amid fresh accusations against Binance. AERGO’s price crash on Binance Futures sparked speculation of manipulation. Binance had previously delisted AERGO’s spot pair but relisted it for leveraged futures shortly before the plunge.
