Canton Network Gains Momentum with YZi Labs Investment in Temple Digital
YZi Labs has made a notable investment in Temple Digital Group, the developer of Canton Network’s first native trading platform. This move is a crucial step toward institutional blockchain adoption.
Temple Digital is tasked with creating a privacy-focused trading stack for tokenized and customary assets on Canton’s ledger. The investment builds on YZi Labs’ earlier commitment to Canton, which is being developed with major financial institutions like Goldman Sachs and BNY Mellon.

Alex Odagiu,an investment partner at YZi Labs, stated,”The next step for the ecosystem was execution.” Temple’s approach and technical depth address the gap between compliant infrastructure and active market use.
Temple Digital Group confirmed it secured $5 million in a seed round led by Paper Ventures. The funding will fuel expansion in engineering and compliance, developing new product lines like asset issuance tools and perpetual futures.
Temple also plans to research cryptographic interoperability, connecting Canton’s ledger with other blockchain systems.YZi Labs, managing over $10 billion in assets, focuses on foundational impact in sectors like Web3, AI, and biotech.
