Power Slap and VeChain Team Up for Global Slapping Championship

Power Slap and VeChain have joined forces too bring live slapping championship events to a global audience. Dana White, CEO of the Ultimate Fighting championship (UFC) and founder of Power Slap, and Sunny Lu, CEO of VeChain, announced the partnership via a press release and X.

Under this deal, VeChain, UFC’s official blockchain partner sence 2022, will sponsor and title Power Slap events. It will also serve as the championship’s official cryptocurrency. The first event,”VeChain Power Slap 12: Quinones vs. Bordeaux 2,” is set for March 7, 2025, at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. It will stream live on Power Slap’s YouTube channel.

Lu said, “we’re excited to work with Dana White to launch power Slap on YouTube. Like blockchains, YouTube empowers people. Power Slap offers everyone a chance to rise to the top. The sport has grown quickly through community and influencers, a strategy we understand as a decentralized blockchain.”

VeChain’s integration will cover all YouTube broadcasts and live streams. It will also appear on athletes’ kits and marketing materials.The partnership aims to expand further, with additional integrations for UFC and the UFC Foundation.

White added, “Power Slap is a global phenomenon. In two years, we’ve gained over 22 million followers and 13 billion views. With VeChain’s support, we’ll elevate this sport.”

VeChain initially partnered with UFC in 2022 and again in 2024 to promote vebetter, an ecosystem for tokenization.
