Ethereum Researcher Joins Stripe-Backed Tempo Blockchain
Dankrad feist, a key Ethereum Foundation researcher, is moving to Tempo, a Layer-1 blockchain.This project, backed by Stripe and Paradigm, focuses on stablecoin transactions.
Feist,who joined the Ethereum Foundation in 2018,announced his new role on October 17. In a post on X, Feist said he aims to boost crypto payments. He sees this as the next step in achieving widespread adoption.
feist will stay involved with the Ethereum Foundation as an advisor. He has been a full-time researcher there as 2019. His contributions include Danksharding and PeerDAS, a scaling solution for the upcoming Fusaka upgrade.
Feist explained, “I’m excited to join Tempo and work with their strong team.I’ll continue to support ethereum’s strategy and roadmap, focusing on L1 scaling, blobs, and user experience.”
Feist and Justin Drake faced criticism in 2024 for joining EigenLayer as advisors. They later left those positions due to conflict of interest concerns.
Feist believes Ethereum and Tempo share the same permissionless ideals. He looks forward to staying involved with the Ethereum community and pushing the project forward.
