Bitcoin Advocate Predicts $1 Million Price Sooner Than Expected
Samson Mow, CEO of JAN3 and a Bitcoin advocate, has revised his Bitcoin price prediction. He now believes Bitcoin (BTC) could hit $1 million earlier than his initial 2031 forecast.
Mow attributes this accelerated timeline too the White Houseâs recent support for Bitcoin. âEverything in Bitcoin happens faster than expected,â he said. âWith the White House promoting Bitcoin, Iâm confident it will reach $1 million sooner.â
The White Houseâs tweet declaring America as the âBitcoin superpower of the worldâ has bolstered Mowâs optimism. This support came after a crypto summit on March 7. Though, itâs unclear if the Trump administration will involve JAN3 in U.S. Bitcoin initiatives as it has with El Salvador.
El Salvadorâs Bitcoin strategy faces skepticism from the IMF and other financial institutions due to concerns about financial stability and money laundering.Despite this, Mow has the backing of El Salvadorâs President, Nayib Bukele, who plans to keep acquiring Bitcoin.
In January, JAN3 raised $5 million in seed funding to develop the AQUA Wallet. This wallet uses Layer 2 technologies like the Lightning and Liquid Networks to enhance Bitcoinâs scalability. Mow launched JAN3 in 2022 with $21 million in funding.
