Mantle’s Mainnet Upgrade Drives MNT to Record High
Mantle network’s mainnet transformation into a ZK Rollup has propelled its token, MNT, to an unprecedented high of $1.71. This achievement came after Mantle integrated OP Succinct technology, securing over $2 billion in total value locked.
The upgrade marks Mantle as the world’s largest zero-knowledge rollup by TVL. It’s a significant milestone generated by the integration of OP Succinct, a technology that allows Optimism-based rollups to implementzkproofs.
- OP Succinct has enabled Mantle to offer faster finality – just one hour – and quicker withdrawals,in contrast to the typical seven days required by other networks.
- Transaction fees have also decreased dramatically, slashing proving costs to around $0.002 per transaction.
Edward Li of Succinct highlighted this technological shift: “With today’s protocol upgrade, they have laid the foundation for their next chapter. OP Succinct is now on Mantle mainnet.”
Trending on TradingView, investors are exhibiting robust confidence, propelling MNT to surpass the $1.70 mark for the first time. Slight dips aren’t cause for alarm, given moderate RSI readings suggest the token hasn’t entered into an overbought territory.
The transition positions Mantle as an aspirant ‘Liquidity Chain,’ targeting DeFi initiatives, real-world asset projects, and institutional participation. Mantle’s future steadfastness will depend on sustained buying interest and positive market sentiment related to its ZK rollup transition.
Historically,Mantle has demonstrated a propensity for responding to news-based catalysts. As an example, a partnership declaration with Bybit previously ignited an 18% spike within a mere 24 hours.
