SEC Postpones Decision on Franklin SolanaETF Again
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has once more postponed its decision regarding the Franklin spotSolana exchange-traded fund (ETF).
This delay was announced in a recent filing dated September 10, adding to a series of similar actions by the SEC. The new deadline for approving thisETF has been pushed back to November 14, 2025.
Franklin Templeton initially filed for SEC approval in February. They sought clearance to list and trade Solana ETF shares. After acknowledg¬ing the app¬lication in March,SEC initiated a review process in June.
- The ETF application faced previous delays, with the sec designating a longer review timeline before its first May deadline.
- The final reviewed deadline was recently announced as mid-november.
In recent months,sec has postponed decisions on numerous cryptocurrency ETF applica¬tions.The anticipation is that many could getapproved simultaneously.
Besides Solana,other popular altcoins like Litecoin and XRP are among those awaiting SEC approval.Experts believe we could see asignificant influx overthe next year.
