TRON Founder Backs Trump on U.S. Blockchain Leadership
Justin Sun, the founder of TRON, has shown his support for President Trump’s vision to make the U.S. a leader in blockchain technology. Sun expressed this after attending a dinner event for supportive investors of Trump’s meme coin.
On social media, Sun said the U.S. administration sees America as the “top spot for blockchain and crypto.” He vowed to do all he can to keep it that way. Here is Sun’s post: https://twitter.com/justinsuntron/status/1926157044077265093
Trump’s gathering drew attention. The event took place at Trump National Golf Club in Virginia, hosting top 220 TRUMP coin investors. Executives from companies like BitMart and Wintermute were also present.
however, using a presidential-seal podium raised legal concerns. Experts question if this violates Section 713 of Title 18 of the United States Code, which bans unauthorized use of the seal.
Leavitt, White House Press Secretary, said the event was not official. She added that Trump attended “in his personal time.”
some, however, see this as Trump profiting from the meme coin. Critics compare it to past conflict-of-interest claims against the Bidens. “Nothing Hunter Biden did compares to this open corruption,” said Mehdi Hasan.
