U.S. Congresswoman Invests in bitcoin Through ETF
Bitcoin has made its way into the U.S. Congress.Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia Representative, recently added Bitcoin to her investment portfolio. She did this through BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust. The investment, made between March 3 and 4, ranges from $15,000 to $50,000.This move highlights growing crypto acceptance among lawmakers.
Greene also bought stocks in Tesla and Goldman Sachs. Tesla is known for its Bitcoin holdings,and Goldman Sachs is exploring crypto services. Greene spent around $140,000 in total, with Bitcoin getting the biggest share. Her financial disclosures, revealed on March 10, show her support for the digital currency.
