Investigator ZachXBT Rebukes Ripple, Labels XRP Community as ‘Exit Liquidity’
Online crypto sleuth ZachXBT has slammed Ripple for allegedly exploiting its user base. His criticism centers on the manipulation tactics used by Ripple’s founders.
In a recent incident, ZachXBT refused aid to an XRP holder who fell victim to a hack. This action sparked his broader critique of the XRP ecosystem.According to zachxbt, the XRP community acts merely as “exit liquidity” for the founders, providing opportunities for insiders to sell off.
ZachXBT compared XRP unfavorably to an MLM scheme. He protested that Ripple relies on attracting new buyers who become unwitting liquidity providers. Insiders then cash out, leaving regular holders at a disadvantage.
The investigator also highlighted Ripple’s perceived failures in education and funding for public goods. Unlike other blockchain platforms, Ripple allegedly offers little value beyond stock dumping.
- ZachXBT expanded his critique to include cardano, Pulsechain, and Hedera.
- He accused these projects of similar unethical practices.
This isn’t the first time ZachXBT has slammed Ripple. He repeatedly excoriates the project over its massive token stash offered by founders, which is frequently unloaded onto unaware retail traders.
ZachXBT also identified Ripple’s tendency to misrepresent paid partnerships as real-world adoption. One such example was BlackRock’s connection with Ondo Finance extending its U.S. Treasuries fund to the XRP ledger.
Reiterating his position in March 2025, ZachXBT affirmed his refusal to assist victims associated with Ripple and Cardano. He stated unequivocally that their cases “[are] not at all worth helping.”
